TISI lowest in 23 months
Thai Industries Sentiment Index, a main gauge of Thai manufacturers confidence fell in September, with the downward trend to 15 months.
At 90.4 points, the index was the lowest in 23 months.
Federation of Thai Industries Chairman Payungsak Chartsutipol attributed the event of flooding in many areas, provided the risks of freight.
Meanwhile, slow recovery of the global economy and increased competition, increases cost of production and political stability also due to the bad mood.
However, the manufacturers expect an improvement in orders and sales in the next three requirements.
